Yoga Nidra, often referred to as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation,” is a guided meditation technique traditionally practiced while lying down, with an instructor leading the session.
During this practice, your focus will be gently directed inward, effortlessly exploring the essence of awareness and consciousness. This allows your mind to linger in the space between wakefulness and sleep. Your breath remains calm and balanced, and both the unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind are examined. Yoga Nidra fosters a state of deep relaxation while maintaining a blissful awareness.
