Open to all ~ no yoga or meditation experience required.
Practice begins with mantra and pranayama ~ Followed by a short restorative practice followed by Yoga Nidra*. This Yoga Nidra practice has a focus on restoring inner peace ~ and is an invitation to cultivate inner peace in a deeply restful way.
Restorative Yoga can include using lots of props and is a great style of yoga for calming anxiety. Bolsters, blankets, eye pillows and blocks assist us in releasing tension and allowing for deep, restorative rest and inner calm while being guided in deep meditation.
This restorative yoga practice invites us to explore some gentle warming movements and meditation ~ cultivating an inner peace.
Feel free to bring your own personal / favorite props ~ however, the studio provides mats, blankets, blocks, eye pillows and Ravi’s (weighted blankets).
