Loretta Jo’s storytelling is often coupled with mantra & mudras. It’s her desire that the stories provide an opportunity for your to slow down, reflect and connect with breath~
Join us for Yoga-Mojo’s Yoga Mythology and learn key teachings of the Gods & Goddesses, Sages, Mythical Creatures and more~
While Loretta Jo shares many different cultural myths in her classes and her teachings, many of the stories told are stories from India’s heritage / Hinduism~ and the characters and symbols, mantras and mudras that are unique to India’s beautiful culture and the practice of yoga.
Loretta Jo: “In sharing Yoga Mythology, I focus on the ‘story’– My goal is to share a story so the story can be enjoyed as a means of sharing information, perspectives, thoughts and ideas versus say, a religious belief or absolute truth. My intention is to honor the cultural aspects and roots of all stories and I do my best in sharing of the stories to acknowledge the characters and their cultural origins.”
