Make plans to attend the Yoga-Mojo
Summer Yoga Retreat in
Pine Knoll Shores, NC
June 21-23rd, 2019
Join friends and make new during the
“Yoga-Mojo Spirit of the Sun”
Held at the Trinity Center in Pine Knoll Shores, NC,
3 days/2 nights of Yoga-Mojo Vinyasa Flows, Yoga Mythology, Mantra, Mudra and More
A weekend of yoga, health and happiness~
This retreat combines dynamic asana to open the body, uplifting dharma discussions, guided meditations, chanting and more. We’ll have an opportunity to hand-craft a beautiful Japa Mala to use during the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra as we watch the sunrise and sunset — and to take home as a remembrance of your Mojo Weekend at the beach!
Yoga sessions are appropriate for all levels (some experience with physical yoga postures is recommended). Led by Loretta Jo, Yoga-Mojo Vinyasa practices are inspired by the Yoga-Mojo Method*. This method merges the body, mind, breath and spirit through asana, meditation, mantra & mudra.
The Yoga-Mojo retreat begins with dinner Friday evening at 6pm, followed by a Welcome Circle, Slow Flow Vinyasa practice and a blissful Savasana.
Saturday morning offers a sunrise meditation at the Beach Pavilion followed by breakfast. We regroup for a morning Yoga-Mojo “Practice & Play” — then lunch. Post lunch, there is a mala making workshop~ a Vinyasa Practice — and dinner. There is free time in between for beach time, rest time, quiet time~ Saturday evening we plan a Fire Circle ceremony!
Sunday morning — sunrise meditation — designed to uplift, energize, and find peace within — followed by breakfast — morning practice, lunch and departure home~
There will be free time for participants to rest, walk the beach and enjoy time with fellow yogi’s.
This retreat is open to all yoga students and yoga teachers.
Please register to save a spot and make your travel plans.
Local students (commuters) are most welcome! This will be a wonderful weekend of yoga, meditation, mala making, mythology and more~ There will be lots of love and laughter shared.
Loretta Jo’s Vinyasa practices include dynamic asana, sprinkled with mythology, mantras & mudras. Each practice session will begin with meditation & breath work and the telling of a story (or two) followed by an all-levels vinyasa class. The sharing of mythology offers another dimension to the practice. The characters in the stories (gods, goddesses, sages, animals and more) become symbols — aspects of our own unconscious minds – allowing us to reflect and take the practice to a different level.
Retreat Prices Start at $370* for double occupancy and $415* for single occupancy.
***Retreat fee includes all activities, room & board and mala workshop***
